Fall Eyeshadow
I was really inspired to do a fall look because I saw an awesome one on YouTube and wanted to recreate it.
Here's how it came out.
It was really easy to do. You can use whatever colors you want just make sure you have a light medium and dark shade as well as a highlight color. Since jewel tones are always in for fall I decided I wanted to use a deep purple and a green shade.
Products used:
NYX eyeshadow primer
NYX jumbo eye pencil in Cottage Cheese
L'Oreal Project Runway L.E quad in Mystic's Gaze
(colors: purple shimmer, green shimmer, cobalt satin finish and navy shimmer)
Ulta eyeshadow in Majesty a purple satin finish
Lorac eyeshadow in Chic a white matte satin
Mally Evercolor Starlight Waterproof liner in black
Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil in Lust
NYX Super Skinny Eye Marker in black
Mally Volumizing Mascara
How I did it:
1. Prime eyelids and under lower lashes
2. Put eye pencil on lid and inner corner and blend it out with a brush (this step is important because it makes the colors opaque and brighter)
3. Pat green shade all over lid with a eyeshadow brush
4. Layer both purple shades in crease with a small dense blending brush
5. Darken outer corner with the navy shade and blend toward center of eye
6. Blend colors with a clean fluffy brush to blur harsh lines
7. Pat highlight color on brow bone and in inner corner with a small brush
8. Lay down navy shade under lower lashes beginning at outer corner and bring in 1/4 of the way with a pencil brush
9. Wipe off pencil brush and apply purple shades under lower lashes the rest of the way
10. Line upper and lower water line with black liner
11. Line upper lashes with liquid liner
The finished look:
Since it was still 90 degrees here in AZ I had to settle for a tank and jeans! I can't wait for the cold weather!! :)
