Runway Inspired Eye Look
So, I am absolutely obsessed with the runway look from the Dior show and I have been dying to recreate it. They did it in gorgeous mint and gold. Since we are quickly approaching winter I decided I would do it in some deeper jewel tones.
Here's the look:
I used a silver and gray on the lid and smoked out the outer corner with a bright blue and black. The liner is a bright blue. You could use any color combination you want but, I think it looks best if you incorporate the color of the liner into the shadows. If you are feeling less adventurous a gold or silver liner would look great too! Also, to make the color really pop you should line you lower rim with a nude liner.
If you want to recreate this look here's the products I used:
Lid: Verve - Naked 2 palette
Outer 1/2 Lid: Pistol- Naked 2
Crease: Craving- NYX (matte gray)
Above crease to blend: Innocence- ULTA (matte light peach)
Under brow bone and inner corner: Cinderella- Makeup Geek
Outer corner: dark blue shade from the NYX love in Rio #LIR05
Outer V: Blackout- Naked 2
Lower rim: NYX wonder pencil in medium
Under lower lashes: NXY studio liquid liner in Extreme blue
Thanks for the support! If you have any questions leave them below and if you recreate the look tag me on instagram so I can see it! @ash_fab0821
Stay fab!

Fall Inspired Eyeshadow
Fall Eyeshadow
I was really inspired to do a fall look because I saw an awesome one on YouTube and wanted to recreate it.
Here's how it came out.
It was really easy to do. You can use whatever colors you want just make sure you have a light medium and dark shade as well as a highlight color. Since jewel tones are always in for fall I decided I wanted to use a deep purple and a green shade.
Products used:
NYX eyeshadow primer
NYX jumbo eye pencil in Cottage Cheese
L'Oreal Project Runway L.E quad in Mystic's Gaze
(colors: purple shimmer, green shimmer, cobalt satin finish and navy shimmer)
Ulta eyeshadow in Majesty a purple satin finish
Lorac eyeshadow in Chic a white matte satin
Mally Evercolor Starlight Waterproof liner in black
Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil in Lust
NYX Super Skinny Eye Marker in black
Mally Volumizing Mascara
How I did it:
1. Prime eyelids and under lower lashes
2. Put eye pencil on lid and inner corner and blend it out with a brush (this step is important because it makes the colors opaque and brighter)
3. Pat green shade all over lid with a eyeshadow brush
4. Layer both purple shades in crease with a small dense blending brush
5. Darken outer corner with the navy shade and blend toward center of eye
6. Blend colors with a clean fluffy brush to blur harsh lines
7. Pat highlight color on brow bone and in inner corner with a small brush
8. Lay down navy shade under lower lashes beginning at outer corner and bring in 1/4 of the way with a pencil brush
9. Wipe off pencil brush and apply purple shades under lower lashes the rest of the way
10. Line upper and lower water line with black liner
11. Line upper lashes with liquid liner
The finished look:
Since it was still 90 degrees here in AZ I had to settle for a tank and jeans! I can't wait for the cold weather!! :)

Lipcolors For Fall
Affordable Fall Lipsticks
I wanted some fall inspired lipsticks but I didn't want to spend a ton because I am a nudes and pinks girl so that's where I invest. :) Berries, reds and purples are nice for a change but, not worth breaking the bank over!
Here's a few of my favs!
Top Left: NYC #405 Blue Rose Top Right:Ulta Lipstick #219 Bottom Left: Red liner & L'Oreal Infallible #465 Mirror Underneath Bottom Right: Milani #114 Candy Apple |
If you are looking for a satin finish go for the NYC lipstick, any of the Ulta lipsticks, the Milani, Wet N Wild Hot Paris Pink or the Rimmel.
If you want a matte finish then the Wet N Wild Cherry Picking is the one.
Glossy finish is the lip gloss (duh haha) or the lip butter.
The Infallible is a little complex because it is a long wear so it dries to your lips but it has a gold shimmer. It's pretty awesome! :)
And my favorite.....
Wet N Wild Special Edition Fergie Collection #A041 Ferguson Crest Cabernet
It is a gorgeous berry color! It is coming off a little more pink in the pic.
Side note: Everything I have tried from the Fergie collection I have LOVED! have two lipsticks and an eyeshadow pallet and the quality is great. I found it in my local Walgreen's.
Final Thoughts:
I really liked all the lipsticks and I found them all at great prices. The Ulta lipsticks were the most expensive at $8 but, Ulta is ALWAYS having a sale or has a coupon so you can get them for a lot less. I paid $4 for mine. The most reasonable were the NYC and Wet N Wild (regular not collections) at $1-$2. Hope you found this helpful!
Until next time!!!
STAY FAB!!!

My fall must-haves
Finally! Summer is winding down and I can almost hear my boots calling my name. Unfortunately living in Arizona means that fall comes later than everywhere else but, that won't stop me from wearing my fav boots on the first day of fall. (I do it every year and I think my husband thinks I'm nuts)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE fashion and fall is my favorite season so here's my list of must-haves.
1.) Printed Pants
I am OBSESSED! I found an awesome pair of navy, black and white geo printed ones at F21 and I fell in love. I would style them with a cool tunic style top in a solid color and some ankle boots. I found a fuschia CK top that works perfect.
2.) Booties
I need these! They work with almost any outfit and I just want them in every color haha.
I have a pair of black ones that KILL my feet every time I wear them but, as a good fashionista I wear them anyway. In Feburary I also got a pair of camel colored suede ones that I'm super excited to wear. I have a military green colored peplum dress that they are going to look fab with!
3.) Scarves
I know I'm late to the party but, I only have a few and I feel like a few more will update my wardrobe without breaking the bank.
4.) Faux Fur Coat
This isn't going to be an essential for everyone but every since I saw Carrie Bradshaw's coat in the first Sex and the City movie I have been on a mission to have one for myself. I found a light tan patchwork coat from Dennis Basso online and it was love at first sight. I got it in June (awesome sale) and I have worn it around the house like three times already. So excited to finally be able to wear it out in a few months.
5.) Something embellished and Edgy
Since I opened the September issues I haven't been able to get ornate, baroque, studded, and bejeweled pieces off my mind! I am all for anything glitzy and this is right up my alley. I have a black sequined cardi from F21 a pair of Lamo sequined boots, bejeweled collared blouses and more hand chains and ear cuffs than I could wear in a week. Trendy or not I'm always on the look out for cool embellished pieces.
So, that's all I have, nothing fancy or technical just my opinion. Like I said before I LOVE everything about fashion so please leave me comments about what you are most looking forward to for fall. It's great getting different fashion perspectives, it is how I get inspired.
Until next time Fashies!!
Stay blessed!
